INFLUENCIAL MUSIC VIDEOS- RIHANNA

This is influential to our music video as it has the typical conventions of a dance music video just like we plan to have however it still has the sense of star image which is want we want to achieve. You can clearly identify who is the main singer and that is what we want with our music video. It also has the similar style in which we wish to have in our music video being the sort of clothes you would find in vintage/ charity shops, like big denim jackets. I really like the way the video is very casual like a documentation of her life, she is seen having fun and messing about and being carefree, i really want to achieve this in our music video but without so much of a clear narrative. We want our narrative to be more fun and carefree rather than this one that turns to be quite upsetting and deep towards the end.
