This video has the main codes and conventions of Hip Hop music, one of these being voyeurism, blurred lines is based around voreyrism and objectifying women to make men look superior, throughout the video women aren't really paid attention to which suggests that women are disposable and only shown when they are needed for example when they are being touched by the males or looked at in a sexual way. The men are covered showing no flesh in contrast to the women who aren't wearing any clothes this shows voyeurism. The women are also dressed in white underwear, white connotes innocence and clarity which contradicts to the lyrics and music video, the red lipstick that the women are wearing connotes lust, sex and danger which draws attention to their lips which is seen as sexual. The colour of their lipstick is also similar to the colour of the objects for example the car, this connotes that the women are seen as no more than objects.
